This is the second time I attend the Monaco International Health Meetings. The last meeting I attended was in Dec. 3 and 4, 2005. The theme was unconventional medicine in front of science

This year’s meeting took place march 31 and April 1, 2007
The goal of this year’s meeting was to establish in a solid and rigourous manner, a validation strategy and media information for a better understanding and acceptance of these types of medicine
This years topic was homeopathy because it has been able to asset itself worldwide, even though many scientific works have been published on the subject, there has been a lot of criticism , especially from the medical community.

The Monaco International health meetings were created in 1983 by Her Royal Highness Antoinette of Monaco to evaluate and discuss non-conventional and alternative therapies..

The Monaco International Health Meetings are composed of an international research group (GIRI) on low dose and high dilution effects of homeopathy. grouping, over 100 international scientist from 23 countries.
It is the only international and interdependent scientific society on this subject.
The aim of the GIRI is to bring together pharmacologists, biologists, physicians, chemists and physicists to communicate, exchange experiences and develop joint research projects,.
HSH Princess Antoinette, is a very cheerful women, always smiling and full of humour.
This year she opened the International Talks once again expressing her happiness in the continuation and maturing of the themes which, have been developing since 1983.
She explained that in the beginning , there was no international structure that existed capable of objectively informing others of your involvement and treatments with non conventional medicine. There was not any serious committee to review your work on non conventional medicine.

Princess Antoinette strongly believes in the benefits of these non conventional medicines, since she herself has benefited from them. She understands that non conventional medicines are difficult to be understood and seriously recognized.

This realization motivated her to create the International Talks of Monaco that, are open and tolerant of all the different works of non conventional medicines and therapies of which the most recent will be presented at the meeting. To guarantee the rigour necessary for these kinds of meetings, she explained that she was surrounded by a scientific committee which, is a group of international researchers and therapists whose, reputation is of tolerance and open mindedness. They are willing to examine non-conventional techniques and believe in their efficacy.

She also thanked the Monégasque authorities who made this possible with financial aid and the materials made available for their use. This committes is unique in the world, subsidized by the Monagasque government, and not financed by a pharmaceutical company.
She ended her speech by thanking everyone for their confidence in her and her committee .

Many important scientists, doctors and researchers and prestigious professors were present;
Dr. René-Philippe Halm , secretary of the Monaco talks opened the meetings by by informing us that the use of non conventional medicine is constantly rising in the world. He believes that is now therefore necessary to diffuse objective information on the subject. He explained that many scientific research had been done on Homeopathy , but still doctors and scientists insist that no serious scientific work has been done on these subjects. He said that one of the main roles of the meetings was to show that many scientific works have been published in international reviews and are as serious and rigourous as scientific publications. Their experiments have been repeated with scientific rigour and therefore are irreproachable.
Mr. Halm said the problem lies in communicating these findings with the scientific community who are still mal informed. This is the reason we have especially invited scientific experts to this meeting to validate the statistics and experiments that have been presented.
He said that he would present courageous researchers who have rigourously and scientifically experimented.
He says that there is a blockage in the media , but Why?
What are they afraid off?
Could it be financial because we do not have enough financial aid for the experiments, while the pharmaceutical companies have lots of funds, and would like people to use conventional medicine, rather than cheap un conventional medicine.
He ended by saying that science does not know everything and should therefore be open and tolerant.

The First theme was a Global Review of traditional Medicine and WHO (World Health Organization) Traditional Medicine strategy.
Dr. Yingrong Du, represented the ‘WHO ‘department.

Dr. Yingrong began by stating that Traditional medicine has been increasing in both high and low income countries for the past decade.
For example 60 % to 80% of poor populations still depend on traditional medicine for their primary health care . But 70% of the population in Canada and 80% in Germany also have used traditional medicine as complimentary and alternative medicine.
In Turkey the use of homeopathy is still not very common;

The reason for the popularity of homeopathy is its affordability and availability.
Also its popularity is the growing concern of side effects of drugs.

Here are the WHO statistics on Populations using traditional Medicine for Primary health care
Ethiopia     80 %
Benin        70%
Ruwanda   70%
Tanzania    60%
Uganda      60%

Populations in developed countries which, have used Complimentary and Alternative Medicine at least one time.
Germany   80%
Canada      70%
France       49%
Australia    48%
USA          42%

Dr. Yingrong stated that since Traditional Medicine is becoming so popular and as people mostly understand that ‘Natural’ usually means ‘safe’, she explains that sometimes Traditional Medicine can be misused.
Therfore, she explained that the safety, efficacy and quality , as well as the economic aspects of complimentary and alternative medicines, and protection of knowledge of traditional medicine , have become important concerns for both health authorities and the public..
To meet this challenge the ‘WHO ‘ have developed a strategy to formulate and impliment national policies and regulations into national health care systems, depending on the circumstances in their countries.

After three years of ‘WHO’ survey on Traditional and Complimentary/ Alternative Medicine, progress has been made on national policy and regulation.
Herbal Medicine is the most popular used traditional medicine therapy world wide. The regulation of herbal medicines is one of the key measures to ensure their safety, efficacy and quality. She also said that Acupuncture was widely used out of the 78% applied 38% was monitored legally.
She concluded by saying that since traditional medicine is going a long way in the 21st century , every thing should be controlled and WHO is gathering all the scientific data.

Another important subject was by Dr. Fraus Boltzman on the homeopathic treatment of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
He explained how parents refused medication such as ‘Ritalin’ for their children and wanted alternative therapies. He told us that there were very good results with homeopathy, he expained all the data of trials and controlled experiments.
Professor Mathilde Basitde of the Factulty in Montpellier explained the the difficulties of reproducing results in experiments with homeopathy because it was so personal, for the same symptoms different homeopathies could be used and therefore difficult to reproduce identically.
An original work by the federation of gynecology in Toulouse France.
was the treatment of post partum breast pain for unwished milk flow. with homeopathy.. They explained medocine such as Pariodel, was used to inhibit lactation, but in some countries such as the united states it is no longer in use because odf serious side effects. The Homeopathy APIS MELLICA 9CH and BRYONA 9CH in combination were chosen for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Professor Atlan Honarory member of the Consultive comiittee of French Etiques, opened his speech by saying that actual biology is mechanic, not vitalistic.
He said that, vocabulary creates language barriers for explanation.
At the end of his speech when asked by someone in the audience, if a promising student informed you that she really wanted to cure people , what kind of studies would you suggest conventional or non conventional medicine.?
He answered by saying “ as a scientist I would say conventional as it is socially accepted,. but Shamans can treat and there are no theories about how they heal.”
One of the conclusions of the meeting was that the major problem of scientific validation of non conventional medicine was due to with financing.
Pharmaceutical companies finance their research but the oppose natural or homeopathy remedies because it is much cheaper. So therefore the problem was economic.

Another conclusion was that traditional medicine has existed for a long long time but Homeopathy has existed as a science for 200 years. And has stood the test of time;
Since Homeopathy was the main subject, I will explain briefly the basic priciples of homeopathy. Homeopathy is based on the findings of DR; Samuel Hahnemann in the eighteenth century. He believed that the existing medical practice did more harm than good.He believed that instead of suppressing symptoms of illness you should encourage and stimulate the body to activate the it’s natural healing process.
That is to say, to treat the disease with a substance similar to those shown by the person who is ill. ‘ Like cures Like’
Dr. Hahnemann established the three principles of homeopathy.
1; A medicine which in large doses produces the symptoms of a disease will in small doses cure that disease.
2.. By extreme dilution, the medicine’s curative properties are enhanced and all of the poisonous or undesirable side effects are lost.
3. Homeopathic medicines are prescribed individually by the study of the whole person, according to his or her temperment and response.
Homeopathy does not reject the great discoveries of modern science, only their commercial abuse.
Homeopathy is currently being used in over 80 countries .
The controversive subject and major research of ‘GIRI’
 is how to prove that a medicine can be more effective if it is greatley diluted, many homeopathic preparations are so diluted that , it is unlikely that any single molecule of the original substance remains;
Current research is focusing on the ability of water to retain an imprint
Researching the memories of water will be one of my future studies.

In the Acmos , using resonance techniques with the Acmos Lecher Antenna we extract information from the energy body to find the exact vibration required
We use three categories of Homeopthy
45     General Homeopathy, that indicate allergy or side effect
45 Hormonal Homeopathy, that, indicate hormonal imbalances, menopause and andropause
45 Psychological homeopathy with different dilutions
30CH indicates at the unconscious level psychological blockages from conception till age 7
15 CH indicates at the unconscious level psychological blockages from puberty till present time
9 CH indicating the conscious level of psychological problems either existing or entering. If entering it means that their present problems should be taken care of, it not they will go to deeper levels.

I really enjoyed the Monaco Meetings and met many interesting people.
Amongst many of the interesting people I met at the meeting a German medical doctor told me that in the past year she only prescribed anti- biotics twice in the past year the rest was homeopathy.
Another interesting woman I met was an American lady living in Hungary, whose treatments were focused on training children from their childhood on how to look after their bodies , exercise, proper eating and eating,
Her method is called INNER TREASURES for children of all ages.
I found the congress very interesting and am happy to know that important research is being done, for unconventional medicine, to inform the media of its importance and effectiveness in health care, and thatscientific research and experimentation are being conducted and the results are being acknowledged.
You may visit the site www.entretiens-internationaux.mc regarding this congress
